Privacy Statement - The Purpose of this Notice
Darin Mount has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate my commitment to privacy. In particular, I want you to know that I am not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. The following discloses my information gathering and dissemination practices for this site, namely when and why I collect your personal information, how I use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how I keep it secure.
About Me
This privacy policy covers the use of your information by me. I am required under the data protection legislation to notify you of the information contained in this privacy notice.
My company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by my company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
How I Collect User Information
I collect personal data through online orders and volunteered data through online newsletter subscriptions. My web server does not recognize a visitors email address. I only gather email addresses of those who communicate with me via e-mail or those who volunteer this information. Other volunteered information collected are a customers name and address and telephone number. I do not collect or store any payment information. I do not sell any collected information to third parties.
The Kind of Data I hold about you
I hold address data, email and contact telephone numbers. These can be deleted or amended at any time (see below for further info).
Google Analytics
When someone visits www.darinmount.com I use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of my site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. I do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Cookies
I use cookies to record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart and other information in relation to the navigation of my site and referring pages, cookies set by my server carry no sensitive data that can identify an individual. A cookie notification alert has been added to my site which will ask each visitor to manage their cookie consent.
How I Use Personal Data I Hold About you and Mailing lists
The only occasion that I may share your personal details is if your order needs to be shipped by a courier company. I generally use Royal Mail or Parcel Force to ship orders. This is the only occasion where your address data will be used. If you have subscribed to my newsletter, I may email customers with news and special offers. With every newsletter you are able to unsubscribe.
As part of the registration process for my newsletters, I collect personal information. This is your name and email address. I do not rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
Changing Your Personal Information
